Course Overview

The use of make-up is everywhere, when you look at a magazine, when you watch any TV program, when you see a fashion show, when you go to the Theatre and in everyday life, make-up is everywhere; most woman also wear a touch of make-up.

Therefore, make-up is not only about mascara and lip gloss, when you become a MAKE-UP Artist, you will be a true artist, capable of creating various looks for the different types of media you will work for. It is very important to understand the difference of make-up. This is what this short make-up course will teach you.

In a short time you will be able to understand the industry and practice all the various needed looks.

So if you are keen to become a professional make-up artist and don’t have the luxury of time to do a long course, look no further, this course is for you!

Maximum of 6 students


Small group of maximum 6 students where you will get my full attention at all time.

I will teach you all the tricks of the trade. You will learn how to apply various types of make-up:

  • natural
  • smokey eye
  • fifties look
  • bridal
  • photographic makeup and TV makeup.

The course will contain a lot of practise but also some fun, interesting theory. At the end you will take with you a file with everything you have learnt.

But equally importantly, I will give you all the inside trick of the trade, and explain how you will become a make-up artist. That will include, how to create a portfolio, how to make connections and how to advertise your business, how to build your make-up kit, how to get an agent and how to get your work published.

Week 2 (Intermediate – Advanced)


  • Photographic make-up (make-up for studio lighting)
  • TV Make-up
  • Avant garde /Fashion/catwalk make-up
  • High definition make-up (airbrush)
  • Face painting
  • Business (pubished work, advertising)

Course Dates

The course lasts 1 week (5 days Mon – Fri) of 5 hours each.

You will need to bring your own model if one student per course.

  • Dates on demand.

If you wish to do this short course at weekends or on different dates, I should be able to accommodate you. For made to measure courses and small groups prices will vary.
